This quilt is part of an ongoing series in which I am exploring the use of complementary colors in my hand dyed fabrics, this time orange and blue, and the interesting colors that result when using different concentrations in the mixing of the dyes. I have added black and some commercial prints for accents and my wonky piecing to give the illusion of buildings.
